“Since animals have played such an important part of my life, I knew I wanted to do something to help them,” Hobbs said. “I’m so inspired by the #1 ranked UC Davis Veterinary Medicine and the great work they are doing around the world. It is important to me to give back to my community in a way that will benefit cherished pets like Hamilton and Jitterbug for many years to come
“Jan’s compassion for animals is extraordinary, and we are deeply grateful for her generosity,” said Dr. Mark Stetter, dean of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. “This is the beginning of a new era of care for UC Davis in Southern California—making a big difference for animals and the families who love them.”
